Used to be that.

Now absence makes the heart go wander.  That's what she's worried about!   :wink1

Negotions over, LOTO  :-++ has in her wisdom granted me temporary absence to attend.  :runyay :beer
I have just booked the last cabin so there may be a couple of spare beds available.  :thumbsup
Now to start planning the ride and getting the bike ready.  :think1
A bit worried that LOTO  :-++  caved so easily ! I wonder what she has up her sleeve ?  :fp
Looking forward seeing you all there. :beer  :grin :beer :grin

Whilst on the subject of out first National Rally, I did a run up to Lithgow this morning to check out the road works on the Bells Line of Road (they've been resealing), and have to report the road is in excellent condition. More to the point, I think my chicken strip just got a bit narrower on the way back up Scenic Hill out of Lithgow.  ::) :p

Marissa went to work yesterday and the office manager asked if anyone wanted to take some time off after Easter as 2 of the doctors were taking time off?
So it looks like she will be able to come along to the National Rally with me  :runyay

So, do you want our double bed?  It'll be a 2 for the price of 1 offer.

Hi Bill, just read your post above Lauries. Thanks, but I did tell John I'd share his cabin and help with the costs. I'll chat to John (saaz) first. I'm pretty sure he'll allow us to have the double bed in that cabin, even if Marissa has to sweet talk him to get it.  :)

Cheers

Cabin has double bed and bunks so all should be good.  I would listen to a Honda owner sweet talking me, but a BMW one   |-i

Bummer. Found out that Marissa's work wanted some people to take the week off leading up to Easter not the week of the rally. >:(
So its back to going solo again for me.

There is a lot of road work going on around the Coffs Harbour/Saphire area, so you can expect delays and slow going. The Pacific Hway between Grafton and Ballina is usually slow due to trucks/Grey nomads and limited overtaking opportunities. Expect to take at least 8 hrs or more to Brisbane.
