I just called the pub and told them we could have up to 30 people there, so they are going to make the table bigger!!

Just to relieve some of the pressure on the lovely staff at "The Dug", I've decided to pull out.
Well actually that's not the reason, but unfortunately I will not be joining you all tomorrow.

I know you'll have a fantastic day as the weather forecast looks magnificent as well.
I'll be "off the air" for a couple of weeks so I'll catch you all on the next one.

Well, I just got back from the Duggie and it was PACKED!! I'm glad we booked a table, even if it did take the kitchen a fortnight to get meals out!. Just after we started arriving another MC group ( the local Ulysses's Club) also arrived in some numbers, not quite as many as we ended up with, but they turned up all at once. That caused a little confusion I can tell you, bikes parked everywhere! As our numbers swelled we ended parking bikes on the grass by the road, thankfully it was as hard as tarmac!

The Ulysses guys eventually went on their merry way and we started to line up the ST's, we didn't include the other bikes associated with our group of which there were a considerable number. Then we started taking pics!

A great get together..lots of new faces, welcome guys,...must do this again, soon!

Totally agree!! What a top turnout guys n girls .... So many new ST pilots and not enough time to catch up with you all. Thanks to Barry L. For the excursion over the lions road and to Harie for rounding us all up and making sure no one was left behind thanks mate.... And to the sneaky blighter who turned my seat warmer on not once but twice ... The buns were heated but not burnt as has happened to someone else .... No names needed.... Till next time ORSM

Thanks Harie, but all I did was follow Diesel's route from the last time, so I can't take the credit for this one mate. Was a nice day for a ride and good to see such a fantastic line up of St's and their pilots. Marissa and I are looking forward to Inverell!

Dunno about Marissa 's pillion, unless it was my ghost. I think she's still on her Ls.
Nice that you missed me Harie. As per another thread, I was on an overnighter to Newcastle.
Won't be in Inverell either- got another ride pre-booked. Can't do everything, but try to do everything that involves the bike.

Yes Bill, there were a few absentees yesterday ... IanB, Royce, JohnM,Skidmark to name a couple but there were so many new faces all enjoying the day with like minded folk.
Plenty of interest for my new ST1800 too..

Great day out and excellent to catch up with everyone. Nice to see some new faces along. Interesting conversations about the bits and pieces on bikes and one I really liked was an antenna mount on one of the ST1300 (i will have to adapt it to fit the ST1100)

you are wrong about the Biggles
Dave from the area near Curaby had his wife in tow
AND she saw the BIGGLE's on Marissa's Deauville
along with me and 8 other riders
