Well after a month or two I once again weakened. The lack of an intercom was just excellent as it allowed me to have a think. Ahh but I got myself a new/old one.
Got me an Autocom Pro

The reason is???? It works
Just Hook it up and it works
No need for a bloody manual eveytime I want to do or adjust something (Bloody Starcom Digital)
No need to tune anything
Everything just plugs in
GPS, UHF/PTT, Radio, Mobile phones, just plug em in and that's it and their perfect
No need to charge the unit as its hooked up to bike power
It does have cables, but unlike most, the connections are near indestructible and you don't have to look at em to join em unlike most. Broke 2 connections on a Starcom and bent the inner connection wires heaps of times
I have had an Autocom before maybe 10/15 years ago and the 4 other brands since have just not done the job whether they were BlueTooth or not. Got rid of the first AutoCom because everyone was saying such and such was better?????Bloody experts
So the Autocom it is. And the best thing is I don't have to charge it.
Hmmmm the funny thing is that the riders that have BlueTooth say they hate cable connections, ahhhh but to charge the unit while they are using it on the bike because it has run out of charge??? they have to be hooked up from helmet to bike with a cable

now that's funny, cause I don't have to go to the trouble of that cause mine does it all the time

but to each their own
