Hippo Hands
« on: October 12, 2012, 06:51:51 PM »
Hi guys,
On our last FarRide here in Tassie I saw one of our guys on an FJR1300 with hippohands.  Its a big mitten velcroed around each grip and looks very effective in cold weather.  Has anyone tried these?  I emailed the guy in the US and he said he didnt have alot of joy with his attempt to fit one for an ST1100.  Maybe someone owns somwthing similar or has made it work.
Thanks

Same idea that my dad used on his old bikes using a rabbit skin turned fur side in and tied to bar with string. He said they were so warm that he didn't use gloves.
