For me it would be simple, I would buy a black st1300 to go with my black st1100, and I would get my st1100 completely restored to new condition paint work, mechanics everything :) of course I would add the obligatory BMW to the collection just to be greedy :)

Hey Streak..............the black ST1300 would certainly be on my list as well.........and so would a black G/Wing........and a black Super Blackbird (a bike I've always admired)....................I'm beginning to feel a little greedy, but it's nice to dream

The full set of Hondas would do me just fine also- covers every base. It's not greedy, just a practical shed set. Greedy would be to want one of each in every colour!

I voted Moto Guzzi, I reckon the MGS01 is one ofthe sexiest looking bikes ever made, even if you can't ride one on the road here. Other than that I would settle for one of each & a shed big enough to put them in.

Kev,
I just did a little over 4,400 kms from Chicago to Vegas on a Victory Cross Country in 15 days. It had about 30,000 miles on the clock.
Good stuff:-
Comfortable seat and upper body riding position (see below for legs)
Cruise Control
Stereo
Gear Indicator
Was happy to cruise all day at 70 mph,a lot of 70 mph + crusing
Low seat height, when I first got back on my ST it felt like I was sitting on top of a mountain.

Bad stuff:-
Truck like Gear box, neutral hard to find with motor running, clunk every time you changed gear
Heavy mechanical clutch
Riders foot boards forward placed and tilting backwards meant that at 70 mph your legs want to lift off
No steering lock
Slow to accelerate compared to the ST1300, it was still going at 115 mph but needed to be wound up.
Self cancelling blinkers
For some reason in the cold mornings my upper legs seemed to cop all the wind, the only part of me that got cold in about 41 deg F.
Panniers will not hold a crash helmet.
Rear blinkers not very clear to cars travelling behind.
Rear brake pedal too far away from normal right foot position.

But a lot of people did like the look of it and probably would have been good for two up.

It would be a new Goldwing for me. I also like the GS1200 BMW, so one of those for when I feel inclined to do some dirt road touring.

With only 23,000 km on mine, my first thought was to keep it and blow the cash on really doing it up:
1. Strip the tank, topbox & tupperware off, maybe replace some pieces with carbon fibre to lighten the load, then and send it away for a custom paint job
2. Get some extra horses out of the engine with a Power Commander or similar, aftermarket exhausts, and better breathing air filtering.
3. Geez, the mind runs wild with an unlimited budget.

This might sound a bit ho hum, but I just love the look of the ST1300 that much, I think I'd just upgrade to a new one,
and maybe get it custom sprayed to the colour of my choice, add cruise, heated grips, my GPS and I'd be quite happy

If you asked me this a few years ago I would have said 1800 Goldwing (Rolls Royce of Motorbikes). After having an 1100 for 5 years now I would say an ST1300 with top box, cruise and a towbar for my trailer. Now you've got a tourer with greater range than a 'wing.
