I have been Speaking with Vince Strang, the Owner of Vince Strang motorcycles, Who is the local Honda Dealer in Inverell, He wants to take anyone who is willing for a run out to Copeton dam for morning tea on Sunday morning.

Ride out time will be 9am from the Fossickers Rest Caravan Park, it take about 30-40 min to get out there, leaving us all plenty of time to get home afterwards for whoever is keen

Since your route is 1684 kms you might as well do it in one shot and get your IBA SS1600.
Alternatively, the road from Narrabri to Bingara is a good sealed road, as is the one from Bingara to Delungra, saving a fair bit of travel.

I'll get a couple of FR10's under my belt before I tackle anything like an SS1600.  I've done a couple of days close to 1,000km, so I just need to make it formal by doing over 1,000 for an organized FarRide.  Thanks for the tip on the Narrabri to Delungra roads.  Mr Google does show them as sealed.

Vince is a Cousin of my Fathers (they actually went to school together i have found out). As for discounts have not even broached it, have found out they are happy to service all Honda's they have done quite a bit of work with the ST's so it is handy information to know.

Teela and  are going to ride down on Friday and stay with them, and we will more than likely ride up to Texas to meet up with everyone coming down on Saturday at this stage.

We're in for the Copeton cruise, we used to spend lots of time all around it camping when the kids were young......at 1,364,000 mega litres of storage it's a fair old puddle when it's full.....didn't quite crack it into the Metre plus Murry Cod Club out their a few years ago......97cm !!! The IBA SS1600 can be ridden by anyone at any time.  You're confusing the pre-requisite four FR10s before doing an FR12.
If you do an SS1600 you can then do an FR12 without ever having done an FR10.

I am hoping to leave Friday, stay somewhere then meet up in Texas for lunch on Saturday. Route unknown at the moment, but I will try and avoid roads I have been on too much lately.  STroppy and Paul (the BMW guy) are leaving from down near Jervis Bay, on the Friday I think.

I wont be able to attend the RTE this year as it conflicts with the Wall to Wall Ride for Rememberence ( www.walltowallride.com)
Tackleberry along with TC and myself will be there and maybe some more Ozstoc members but we'll see on the day.
If the date of the Inverell ride could be changed to a week later then I'd be able to attend both.  I think there would be a few Ozstoc members that would also attend both.
I've seen the videos but not been on the ride before, apparently it's quite a gathering.
I really enjoyed Inverell last year, have a good time.

Rob and I are leaving Brisbane on the Friday stopping somewhere overnight and then heading to Texas for lunch and to meet up with everyone.  Looking forward to getting back on the bike after our little hiccup heading to Bilo.
