I was devastated not being able to complete the rte today.....
The starter solenoid was over heating and melting the fuse, I could even feel the extra heat coming thru the seat which could only mean the main wire was over heating as well.
so made it home after more jury rigging and parked it in disgust went inside and sulked over a few beers.
Oh well better luck next time,
will do a main wire bypass tomorrow and replace solenoid when new one arrives.

Glad Rhonda still got you home tho.

We plan of having plenty this year, so that if you can't make one, another RTE is not too far away.

I have an OzSTOC gift for you too next time I see you.

Keep us posted on progress mate.

It was a real nice day - only got to 40* at Woodford on the way home.

Nice to meet the next bunch of new faces that belong to great people - Thanks for coming out folks.

I will put up a 1 or 2 min video of what I captured today.

When I saw the details of this RTE my form of logic told me that it would be on Sunday!!!!!! I was a little more that peeved when I logged in on Sat. morning only to find that I had missed the ride

I had it in mind that I wanted to go out somewhere on Sunday morning and this seemed like the perfect opportunity ....

My utmost apologies for saying I would be there and not show up. I will try to do a little better next time and be sure that I check the date on the calendar!!!!!

I was looking hard leo. Left highfields about 8.15. Went past Jellico around 8.25. Figured you hadnt left yet. If I had another 10 min up my sleave I would have popped over but was running late.

The guy I work for rides Ducatis' and we are planning a ride Feb 7. Ill post some details as they come to hand.

Excellent ride, even though it was a stinker of a hot day. Great to finally eat at the Esk bakery, see the new merchandise and chat to the guys about the Middleton trip in Mar.

hmmm yehh! got 6 mins of video but the for some reason whited out, can see it at end of video (may be faulty). all other 3/4 hrs. of video no good. have posted on forum "19/1/13 esk". posted on Facebook also! got to look at that edit program.
