I made sure all my details were upto date on the RAN list so I think I'll be ok...

Make sure everyone on the Saturday ride has their details lodged with RAN because we're bound to get lost.

My details are up to date in the RAN so if any of you guys are coming down the Newell highway and need anything, let me know.

Very sad that I can't make it to the rally, but the ST is still in bits waiting parts and even if I got them tomorrow, I don't want to rush the repair. Gotta get to Alice Springs in May for Ulysses AGM.

Saaz I am catching up with Neale in Sydney for 2 nights then going to Abes where we will hook up with ST2UP and Pockey. Then we going down the NSW South coast and doing the Victorian coastline and Great Ocean road before winding our way up to Ballarat next Friday

Did a lazy 130 kms today with Neal and Loppy to MCA at Penrith to buy some new gloves for Loppy and the leisurely ride to Picton for lunch. Just cracked the second

Wow, when your out of the group...your out of the group, I had planned something like that with ST2up after last years rally....  Oh well, Solo One to Matlock just cruisn' June.

Sabie Dropped into the shop today to say hello, made me realize how close all this is getting, 3 more sleeps and it is launch time from toowoomba!

Hmmm . . . . Not quite ready to leave yet . . . More preparation to do and early on Thursday morning SAAZ, Paul and I head off to Lara and Tipto's place for Thursday night . . . A fairly heavy day of around 1,000 ks . . . . I know a mere dawdle for those hard arsed FarRiders and Iron Butters . . . Then Friday an exhausting 150 or so to Ballarat . . . New tyres for SAAZ and maybe a new rear one for me . . . And then settle down to an ale or three . . .  eagerly looking forward to it all.

Off to Adelaide on Sunday morning to visit my daughter n Grandkids. . . .

Well my ex chucked another tantrum and refused my access to the kids against court orders, so we have packed the bikes and will be leaving tomorrow morning. Hopefully the water pump settled down and behaves for the whole trip.

Accommodation in Ballarat...

Hi all,

I was hoping to have someone come with  me  ballarat for the rally, but it appears it is now not going to happen., So i now have spare beds available in my cabin for Friday and Saturday night.

If you have been a little slack in organizing accommodation PM me and Im sure we can work something out.

As for access to your kids, hopefully it gets better, it did for me but only when the kids were old enough to make their own choice, but lost many years as they grew up.

Same here Champ - missed some REALLY IMPORTANT MILESTONES and opportunities for informed advice! Time will show the situation improving, but no turning the clock back!

Good thing Me_3 is that this Rally won't change personal events, but by heck - you get a bloody good escape from the usual crap for a few days!

Make sure we say g'day down at Ballarat.

Raining in Ballarat today, only just dodged it in Bendigo...scrap that, it's now a thunder storm.

So that's a good sign in Ballarat?
Up here that is an indicator of possible precipitation.
