Just piloted IanB and Helen (on their new bike!) around the Western outskirts of Sydney enroute to Ballarat via the NSW South Coast. Ros and I hit the road tomorrow AM.

Short day today, we're at Lakes Entrance at the Albartross Motel - It's neat, Tidy, Comfortable and only $70 for a double, air con, free WiFi

Well streak and Shiney are safe and sound in Canberra, great trip down from Nambucca Heads we cover about 710km

We even got to see Ayres rock!

Stole a quick pick in front of the ACT sign

Then is was to Saaz's where the A Team was formed

Then all the sensible people set out to show me how to pull my new bike apart and helped me with some ram mounts and 12v point!

After that it was a fantastic meal cooked by saaz and many great Laughs...and now it is bedtime....

Difficult decision, but I will try. Get better. Hope to make it to Darwin this year sometime as never been there.

Leaving the Gong Thursday morn and will meet JohnnyBALDHED somewhere in Corryong in Vic after funnelling down the Hume. Camping and on to Ballarat on Friday. Nothing booked so if no spare beds will throw up a tent somewhere. Going to b taking lots of fotos of our beautiful country.
Cramps should b under control as I have new medical advice that magnesium supplements are ok. Also I have a ram mount cup holder with camelback style drink container together with a ram mount extra mirror that gives me a far better view of what's behind and beside:

It's Wednesday afternoon and I have lifted and tilted the tank as per instructions and am in the middle of removing the screws from the air filter box so as to clean and re-oil the K&N air filter when disaster strikes: Petrol is pouring onto the carport floor and I can't stop it b4 most of a tank's worth is wasted. It seemed to b pouring out of the main hose but there is no problem with the clips holding the hose. When I get the hose off this is what I found:

Maybe I raised the tank a little 2 far but there is a chord preventing that so I think this hose was a problem waiting 2 happen. Got one ordered but be lucky to get it by Friday. Will ring JohnnyBALDHED 2night and let him know about this unfortunate event.
