Hey Bikebear!
There's a campground not far from Esk ($7 per night single), has pay hot showers. Then it's a nice ride back up through Maleny, Mapleton.. then you can use our guest room in Maryborough on your way north if you like!

Thanks for the offer Rodd but I'm planning on heading North via the inland, I haven't planned a final route yet but I may end up going through Theodore and across to Emerald and up that way.

I remember leaving Boonah on our return leg from one RTE and I was keeping one eye on the rear vision so we didn't lose HarieG and one forward trying not to lose you.

I think I am going to be able to make this one (Boss says I can).

I'll try to follow the Brisbane group, probably picking up the scent near the Canungra road intersection, just south of Tamborine. My reckoning is that if I'm there before 9.00am, then I should be able to come up behind the others. If you are in the Brizzie group, don't wait for me, if I see you, I see you, else I will see you at Esk.
