I'm pretty much a loner and quite like it that way,

Trying to persuade my wife to ride again . Dont think it will ever happen .
I ride for one reason and one reason alone , total enjoyment in any conditions with one exception dirt , my Honda hates dirt.
To have a ride buddy or pillion doesn't make or break my rides .

I'm pretty much a loner and quite like it that way, especially on overnight trips where I can throw my duffel bag on the pillion seat.  I've had Mrs Glimt as a pillion on short trips to collect her after putting the car in for a service but that's pretty much about it.

Talk about bumping a topic  :crackup

I like my solo rides, but have a great pillion for when we both want to get out. Longer rides will definitely be solo, the RTE to Waikerie was Sandra's longest ride, about the limit.

So what if I don't know what Armageddon means? It's not the end of the world. And if it was, you'd find reds are by far undoubtedly & unquestionably the best.

Talk about bumping a topic  :crackup

I've bumped a couple today, but this is nothing compared to the footballnews forum.  Day off today so spent time looking through subforums I've never really looked at before.

I can add to my previous post on this thread since the bump..
Since I've had STrangler I have a lady friend who refused to come for a ride on STranger ST1100, but is very keen to go on the ST1300. Even after a few rides on STrangler she refuses to come along on STranger... wtf... I just think she dosent like red bikes... lol.. but I still class myself as a loser loner  :grin

... so, is your duffel bag big enough for your Big Yellow Toothbrush,  then?

I rushed the last answer as I  was between trips.  No, my duffel bag isn't big enough for one of those toothbrushes.  1993 was the last time Glimt won the cup.  We were runners up in 2003.

Ha ha Mrs Glimt once said to me "why do you like riding?  You can't talk to anyone whilst doing it". I didn't tell it was possible.

Still a lot of season to go but if we go on to win it will be the first time we have won the top division.
