It snows a lot more in places other than Canberra. In fact it has been ages since any decent snow fell. Here, mind it does still get to -5c a lot, has been below zero only yesterday.

Winter is a curse up this way. I remember one morning a few years ago I had 9 degrees in the house.. absolutely ridiculous!!!!!

Of course if I go west onto the Atherton tablelands it does get cold, have had tent and trailer covered in ice and my sheepskin seat cover all frozen and crunchy while camping at Innot Hot Springs in July. Mind you by about 10 o'clock it's t-shirt time again...   :p :p :thumbs

That picture is a good indication of how the bikes will look at the Ebor run in July  :wink1
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Shhhhh Bill......you will scare the children  :p

Beauty of Ebor in winter you only need ride 30 minutes to the East and the temperature rises 10 degrees.

If, and it's a big "if" we get some snow overnight it never closes the road to the east of town so no probs with access/egress.....but if you wish a early morning departure after a clear night be extra vigilant on the still shaded corners.....

Cheers
