What a great ride today. Heard there were 500 bikes before we had our briefing. A lot of American and English bikes.
Talked to Mitch and Wombat and protected Bodie on his R1 from the mass. There was also a black ST1300 but could not get close enough to it.
Left at 10am for a ride before we bunched up on Kwinana Beach then a slow ride down along Rockingham foreshore turned right onto the causeway across to Garden Island. Non stop across and back with no photos on the island.
1130 am back to the Point Peron RSL club for refreshments, sausage and hamburgers and plenty of raffles. All for a good cause.
Then a safe ride home at 130pm.

Glad you enjoyed the ride and got home safely Johno, great to see you and Bodie. Was that Bodie's first mass ride?  :thumb

Just to add my take on the ride I concur with Johno it was a great ride and overall event. Got caught at the lights and ended up leading the pack. One white ST1100 out the front of a s### load of Black Harlies. I felt like the rabbit at the greyhounds.  :eek  Will make this ride next year and grats to the organizers
cheers

Wombat, sorry I didn't catch up with you, but happy you enjoyed the ride. :thumbs
There were 442 bikes that paid and probably a few that didn't, I'll let you know in a few days how much we raised for Legacy. :hatwave
