True .... Mine attracts a lot of attention as I ride around, even more when parked up.
I used to have a similar point of view as yours until a couple of years ago after riding one ... The comfort, power, luggage space for road trips and all those usable accessories including integrated gps, comms.
After having mine for 12 months I have been pleasantly surprised at it agility in the tighter stuff plus the comfort allowing me to cover a lot more K's without the sore butt and fatigue.

+1 on that mate - luv 'em.

That is why I can NEVER sit on one!        :-(((       they say that is all it takes!       :thumbsup

Cheers

I feel your pain mate......can see one as an option our future, but wouldn't dare part with the ST until I had spent some time on the GL......if only they had more fuel onboard !!

I'm with Chris on the fuel range thing, but I'm certain there's a Wing in my future.
There are some pretenshus ones out there- I know of one with little lights all over it and enough chrome to make a Highly Dangerous green with envy.
The lounge chair and everything integrated impress me.
I followed one up the Putty Road on Sunday and he ran at a speed that I found most appealing, and that I had no intention of bettering on the mighty ST13.

I could certainly live with an 1800 Wing as a motorcycle.  It can go around corners as fast as you should on the road.

Jeez, that's scary!!!

As to the F6B, it  looks like the design team all started at the front, all concentrated on making a big fat design and as they progressed towards the back were told by management that they were running out of money and that they had to stop quickly, so they simply finished it off without actually adding anything. Hence a bike that is all front end and stuff-all else. Dreadful shape, badly laid out, and far too much front end with no visible back end. Try again Honda!
Cheers,

That 'Wing rider must have only had his knee on the saddle to get the inside knee down like that.
It makes the traction safer keeping the bike more vertical, but he's sure living on the edge of leaving the bike.
One more millimetre and he's lifting the back wheel by touching the peg.  Then there will be sparks!

Always thought the Wings were like having half a car. Amazing what talent some guys have. Watched the video attached of the 2009 Wing Challenge and the footage of that is incredible. Hope he has a spare underbelly though.

You are right Carol, ride one and you will be looking for your cheque book. They are just completely different  and as much as I love my ST the more I ride my GL1500 the more I like it. Even little things like an LCD display that I can read in all conditions. Having said that I seriously considered changing the GL500 for a 2012 GL1800 but the value was just not there for me.
