Off To the Show
« on: July 07, 2013, 03:32:46 PM »
Well i was having a very relaxed Sunday morning when Teela rang to say she had forgotten to take some of her face painting gear to Laidley where she was painting at the show.

So it was the Superman change (especially my new jacket), and off and away, and what a GLORIOUS day to be on the bike, i only did a 140km round trip but it was sensational, took all the back ways to get to Teela, i was having so much fun i had not even turned my music on i was just humming in my head!

Ride Map: http://goo.gl/maps/VsCEk

When i got to Teela she said"what took you so long?" my reply"you didnt specify how soon you needed it  :p" apparently i need to be banned from delivering items with my bike!

I grabbed lunch there and asked one of the carnival food staff if they did a decent size burger as the ones they where selling where tiny, he grumped at me and said"will make you a carny burger 8 bucks" i didnt take a photo, but lets just say that my heart nearly stopped trying to eat it all, and teela was wiping the mess of my shirt with a baby wipe  :rofl :rofl served me right!

I Also Found a Fantastic place for an RTE in the Future! it is Called "The Barn" Cafe (Google Map: http://goo.gl/maps/N57AO), I stopped in on my way home for a coffee and to check the place out, and it looks the goods, plenty of parking, plenty of place to sit, lots of scenery, and most importantly my coffee was fantastic, and the food looked really good to!

Good Parking:

They have an old garage/workshop there with lots to see in it, they open it for groups so that will be a bonus as well

Had to take this photo beside the shed!

I Also took a quick Video of the place.

Looks like a top place to hang out. The slide has a weight and height limit in order to slide.  :-(((
Getting wind in my hair while I still have some.

Streak's not too tall, surely!
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
