Thermal glove liners
« on: July 09, 2013, 07:48:51 AM »
Well pillions have found the perfect solution to cold hands.

Purchased a pair of thermal gloves to go under my existing winter gloves as I suffer from very cold hands, wish I had purchased these a lot sooner.

These under gloves are made by Icebreaker a NZ company, made from fine merino wool, the best thing I have done for my cold whitle hands. They have made a huge difference.
 :thumbs
At only $30 a pair.

Here's another solution to cold hands.   I could not survive winter riding without my grip warmers, as I too get very cold hands, but battery powered heated gloves would take warm hands to a whole new level.   :grin

Lol, the like !!!

Adventure 195 is an outdoors shop here in Armidale. They have the climb Everest type of quality gear that you pay top dollar for but only pay once and have it for life.

They have an online shop as well.

And what Pockey didn't mention is she spends enough in their shop she has her own reserved parking space out front, but the owner is a Pom who knows is products and is a Touring bike rider, so lots of the Outdoor/ Hiking articles comes over to bike touring.

My winter gloves are a snug fit, are these under-gloves thick enough to make much of a difference ? Or would I have to get bigger gloves?

Hi Poppy, although the liners are very thin I noticed that they made my slightly oversized winter gloves just right. So if yours are snug now I would suggest they wouldn't fit.
