Streak & Teelas Biloela Weekend 19th-20th July 2013We have had a fantastic time! 1500km over 3 days, good food, good people, and seen country we have not seen before!
------
Teela went to see Pink in Concert on Friday night so we went up to Brisbane on Friday night, so we could head off easily on Saturday morning, I went for dinner with Rob Job and Kym.

Due to two tired people a little oversleep happened, we didn’t wake up till 9am, so we were very late getting on the road so it was a brunch at Esk Bakery

Got warned by a couple of locals that we were going to get wet, but after national rally and mini tornados and storms, a little water was not going to bother us, and we avoided 95% of it, and the little bit we did was not worth worrying about

We got a text message that Rob Job, Kym, and HarieG where all having a couple of problems up the road, so we dropped in on Harie in Gayndah waiting for his mechanic to come and pick him up, even grabbed a photo of the Goldie in pieces!

As time was getting away and there where fun sweeping bends we stepped up the pace and caught up with Gaz up there road so we had company on the way into Biloela.

Even decided to have an up close and personal with a nice lady I didn’t see coming out of an intersection….much to Teela and Gaz’s humour….
Rolling in it is always good to see the old faces giving a wave and nods of hello, and the faces you don’t know and still to meet.

Have to say the Food was fantastic, could barely move after dinner and dessert and Gaz making me laugh didn’t help things!

Sitting at the table watching everyone talking laughing, it is always amazing to see the culture and the strength of the club come through, and everyone get along so well, watching the back and forth from Tipsy and Tackleberry had me in stitches!

Worked out people had come from Townsville, Mackay, Guyra and even Canberra so some serious KM’s covered! Much merriment and laughs and Teela and I wandered off to bed, and then it was up and at them for Breakfast (which I have to say was even nicer than dinner!), Group photos (Taken by IanB), goodbyes and on the road.

We were going to see the diesels so we thought we would do a loop and go home down the bruce highway, which was quote a lot of fun stopping to into towns for a coffee and a look,

Even spotted another Black ST1100 who looking at the bike spends far too much time with it (don’t know any other people like that)

We tootled down through Gympie realizing that we had been really stuffing around as you can see be Teela trying to take photos of Herself!

We didn’t get to the Diesels until 5pm, where we spend a couple of hours talking about the world, we felt good so we kept heading for home, dinner at plainlands, and into our driveaway at about 10pm, we did 770km for the day which we had never done together before, we used to struggle to do 400km it is amazing what getting fit, and practice will do.
