« on: October 11, 2013, 12:47:02 PM »
well the rear tyre for Inverell  :thumb, front tyre just after we got back  :thumb then being told the steering head bearings need replacing  :||||. booked in for thursday and yep wednesday alternator wiring decides to burn out  :||||  :||||. a quick frantic fix  :runyay and straight down to shop for repairs of bearings. was shown how bad they were so no they were not leading me on. picked it up thursday arvo told take it easy, what a difference, easier to control at slow pace. put nisi on the back and same result .feels like new bike  :hatwave

Well, you certainly copped a whole lot of repairs in one go, but I'm pleased for you that it's all sorted and handling much better.    What year is your bike and what's the mileage?

I'll be getting a new head bearing next week too, and front fork service (bushes, sliders and seals)

Cant wait to feel the difference.

After seeing Abe's other red st11 ( new white st13 ) at Inverell i have been farkling myself silly.
Shiney is also equally to blame for emptying my wallet
(highway blades purchased, windscreen next item on the list ).
Oddly enough it has made me wash & clean the bike every week out of sheer guilt  :-[
