« on: October 28, 2013, 03:46:43 PM »
The neighbour was throwing a Halloween party on the weekend and welcomed us over for the event.

Here are some pics...

Apparently - going as myself was scary enough!       :||||             :rofl

Halloween is Celtic in origin though there are different views on how it came about.

I know where Tipsy's coming from.  The Yanks have really taken Halloween on board and go nuts with it.
The only reason I can see that it got a foothold in Oz was the retailers seeing another opportunity to sell stuff.
I put it in the same category as the current "zombie craze".  Just bad taste, but appealing to some people.

And Tipsy, they won't come calling until Thursday night, but when they do...       :eek

(for once the blue "eek" is fully appropriate)
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Great pics above, and they have prompted me to include one of my Missus and me at my best friends wedding a couple of weeks ago. I was his Best Man and the whole wedding was Vampire based with some really WILD costumes on all the 75+ guests. We then had an evening meal and party, and trust me I was knackered by the end of the day!!

Hope you enjoy the Pic.

Cheers,
Paul

Here Here Tipsy.I say we've lost enough Australiana. Besides its the shoping centers who are promoting it the most.

How many are you expecting to come knocking this year Tipsy?
