Advertising feedback request
« on: November 16, 2013, 06:33:56 AM »
Mods let me know if this is inappropriate I DO NOT intend this to be an advert, just genuine research. Delete thread if necessary

I run motorcycle related business (Dale McLean Motorcycle Electronics) and currently advertise in print  (hopefully many of you know this already).

I’m after feedback as to whether you have seen my ads and can tell me what magazines. Just a simple post with the mags name will be sufficient.

Also opinions on what possible other/better/more effective means of advertising are appropriate.

Seeing as you guys represent a cross section of the market I’d value the opinions

I’m trying to gauge where the advertising dollar is best spent, or whether a different approach is needed.

Thanks  :grin

Yep- Australian Motorcyclist. Half page  #10 p88
Looks effective.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Road Rider although I don't subscribe any longer. Just buy an occasional copy if I'm travelling somewhere. Can't beat Google Dale. Word of mouth is also your friend.

Aust Motorcyclist - always read the adverts but picked up on Dale's business through the Forum, eventually buying a Starcom.

Australian Motorcyclist (the bear seems to have a following) is the main one, and I think a few others I might get now and then. But I missed you at the MC expo in Sydney. Other Bluetooth brands where there, but not Starcom or autocom for that matter. Nevertheless, I had some earmolds fitted with speakers and acoustic tubing, so looking at matching that up with a Starcom with all the bells and whistles before Christmas..... :grin

Only seen in forum...... This one,
Would recommend YouTube linked to Motorcycle videos
I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.
