You can't surprise me any more with what technology can do!
I'm just thankful for living in the era when all these wonderful things emerged and are being refined.  I was a kid when black and white TV arrived in Newcastle, accessible only by very tall antennae masts on house roofs.  If you wanted to ring up, most of us went to the red phonebox and pushed our four pennies in and dialled the number.
We've come a very long way.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Ah yes....I remember it well!!  We've come a very long way, "in a very short period of time"

The folowing are the five "Great Ages" of human progress and their appoximate duration:

Stone Age.....3.4 million years
Bronze Age.....2,500 years
Iron Age......500 years
Industrial Revolution......80 years
Information Revolution......20 years

Where the hell's it all going to end?????? :grin

There are many paths to the top of the mountain.....but we all need to find our own way!

All the screen needs is a GPS and a connection to "Flight Radar" an iPhone app.
The app lets you know all the details for flights in the air in real time. So you know when planes travel over you their call sign, their point of origin, airline and destination.

Kinda the "must have app" for any hijackers or terrorists.

I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.
