I've just sent Brendan an Email asking for pricing. I'm sick of repairing flat tyres, I've had three over the last 12 months.

Yep, bottles are $18 each and I think the ST needs just over one for the rear so it's going to cost $36 for the rear plus freight. I'm talking to guys I ride with to see if anyone else wants some before I put in an order. From the info you cant use it with a tyre pressure monitoring system.

I got a flat rear tyre which had ride on tyre sealer in it
It was only a small hole which I couldn't find till I pumped air into it
The sealant was everywhere but didn't seal
I contacted Brendan who didn't care and just told me it doesn't always work

OK thanks for the heads up.
I usually carry a bottle of sealant as a just in case, yet to have to use it but in an emergency should save me. Only issue with the sealant is that it coats the wheel and tyre with gum which has to be cleaned out on the next tyre change.

Thanks for your honest  and valued input Leo.

Several of us were thinking of purchasing this product when we do our ride to Perth in March, but not now.

On the flip side I have had a number of punctures that have been successfully sealed by this. I guess it is just a case of it not being 100% successful... I think I'll have to get a puncture kit as a backup for when it doesn't work :fp

I have heard good things about Stop n Go, little dear to purchase but apparently much more effective than other repair kits.

I used one of the car tire repair plugs on my last puncture and it started leaking after a couple of months causing a flat. I pulled the tire of the rim and installed a patch inside but unfortunately the wire had separated from the first patch and poked a hole in the second patch. I've just got another tire set so have been pumping the rear up every week till I get the new one fitted.

I have set up a deal with LSM Technologies to supply Members of OzSTOC with the Ride-On tyre puncture sealer and balancer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tQ6hFqifE8#t=0 Tire Sealant - Ride-On Tire Protection System (TPS)

very cool stuff :clap :rockon

This amazing product instantly fills a hole in your tyre from a nail or tack - before you even knew it happened, and provides extended tyre life through keeping the wheel constantly balanced and pressurised.

I am running it myself and can testify to how easy it is to add to your tyres.

Furthermore, our friend at LSM Technologies, Brendan Villiers, has offered OzSTOC Members a very generous 20% discount!     :clap :clap :clap

Email Brendan - tell him Diesel from OzSTOC sent you, and you can both work out the rest from there.... including how much product you will need, and how to use the easy online ordering, etc....

http://kenma.com.au/tyre_repair.html

Luckily I always carry a set of Cargol Turn and go screw in tyre repair kit and a electric pump that got me on the road
The bike shops would not repair the tyre because of the high silicon content that motorcycle are now made of
But the plug stayed in the tyre for over a month until it could be replaced

I wouldnt use those, as they seem a bit hard and might wander around in the hole when on the road. Gummy worms are messy and not easy to get in, I have had the insertion tool break. Stop n Go are pretty easy to use, no mess and are soft and flexible. I had one in a tyre for several thousand Ks until I had it replaced..

Here is a comparison vid I found.
