G'day Andrew,
Went over to Shellharbour the other day to try on some Alpinestar gloves that were about 1/2 price thru Gumtree. My DriRider Aero gloves r size L and the Alpinestars were XL. The 30km ride was a dud tho coz the XL gloves were considerably tighter than my size Ls. Different brands seem to be different sizes. Leather gloves do stretch over time, maybe that's why these newish gloves were very tight.
So on the way home I dropped into the STealer and tried on heaps of different brands and found all sorts of variations in different brands. Then I had a glove epiphany. My gloves have a Velcro adjuster on the top and bottom of each glove:

Without thinking about it, I was in the habit of pulling both of these quite tight with the result of restricting blood at the wrists and thereby starving my fingers of a full blood supply and the consequent tingles that I mistook as handlebar vibrations. How ridiculously simple a mistake to make.
So over the next few weeks I'm going to wear the gloves around home (in the vain hope of not providing the world with more evidence to prove my insanity) to try and stretch them more and on a ride use the loosest adjustment on the wrists.
So this device you're talking about funnels air into your jacket sleeves. Sounds cool (Nuck, Nuck). A jacket farkle - whoopee!
BTW Andrew, you were on your way to get a MCCruise installed at Dale McKleans. I know they cost $984 2 buy but how much does it cost to install. I have sent 4 the installation manual and m considering installing the cruise myself depending on how clear the instructions r.
Hope your ribs r better so I won't tell u any gr8 jokes (not that I know any) so as 2 cause unnecessary pain.
M also considering going 2 Phillip Island this year not ever having done anything like that b4 (other than going 2 the Bathurst bike races once 25 years ago). Can u thro up a tent somewhere and make a cheapish weekend of it?
