Well I'm going to have to pull the pin on my attending the run
Family event now on  :||||

Turtle

No good Turtle.  :-(((

who has the banner   :grin
I was also going to ask who has the banner?, are you attending Bill?, I need final numbers.
Cant say at this stage. So dont count me in. Pit Crew and I will be riding to Bunbury Friday and friends want to go to Boyanup. Maybe side ride to Mumby. I can get the banner and come for a ride to deliver. Any excuse.

Don't know what is happening with the tavern, been trying to ring and get the message the number is disconnected, shall we take a punt on it still being open?

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?

There is no listing in the white pages for them, so I left a message on their FB page. Give that a day or two, and then might try the mobile no listed on FB.

May have to relocate to collie, new norcia or something.

My thoughts are we head down, if closed we find alternate venue, Quindanning is the northern side of Collie, or elsewhere, Kirup Tavern was good a few years ago.
At the end of the day it is the ride that counts.

Sorry guys, mumballup is out for me, just took the bike out and a unknown pipe has split and the contents of the radiator were left on the road, limped home and stripped the bike down but still not found it, any ideas or help greatly appreciated.  :'( :'(

There are a couple of small coolant hoses between the heads, involves carby removal for access, good luck and glad you didn't cook it.

I have a set of new hoses I will be fitting after Pezz's clutch. If you need one I will not be doing mine for a couple of weeks so time to replace

Ah, blown heater hose, most of us in the West have removed the heater, not really needed...

I'm looking forward to catching up and a weekend of riding  :grin ... However, can we confirm meeting places, lunch, etc.? I'm assuming from the previous posts that:
* we still target Mumballup (Saturday 26th) at 12:00.
* if they're closed, we decide where we ride to for lunch. Options suggested are: Quindanning (100 km ride back to Perth), or Kirup Tavern (43 km further south).

Correct?

Since I'm making my own way there I will be there absolutely no later than 12 so as not to hold up the group.

Cheers, R.

I am going to give this a miss, forecast for Collie is for rain with storms, not pleasurable riding.

I am goiung to have to miss this as well, I have just been informed that a Malay Airforce C130 at Pearce, needs to have a battery serviced so it can fly back to Malaysia tomorrow. I will be going in to work at about 9PM and going all night to get it done.

I will have to give it a miss as well as I am still on slicks. Have not had time to fit new tyres.
Bugger.... After spending last couple of weeks on a 125 scooter I was looking forward to a run on the STeed.

I am reconsidering - but I'll wait until tomorrow morning. I had hoped to climb that bloody Gloucester Tree. The thought of me hanging on to several wet lightning rods doesn't thrill me.

Who else is still intended/hoping to make it?  I may just skip Mumballup.
