At a pure Guess what do you think this will go for?

Normal between $7000 - $9000 ..... They are well used and need a lot of TLC and if you want to convert to pillion seat you are looking at $500 minimum

Gumtree Perth has one converted duel seat and one not for $7000

Pickles auction website is really annoying. First off, WA isn't even listed as one of their auction sites, second if you do find WA and search in the Trucks, Machinery & Earthmoving section the bikes aren't listed, then when you finally locate the bikes, the pictures are just generic ie not of the particular bike up for auction.

  There were at least 5 of them, i have one and winston has another. Can't comment on how much winston paid for his, but i purchased mine from the honda shop for $8500 (it was on consignment). They were asking $10,000, but with my hot wife as a distraction, i got it down a little  .
i have two theriories on how mine was to end up at the honda shop

i could assume he got mine for under $7000 from the auction and was happy to make $1500 on it, but i think it took him about 6 weeks to sell it going by the fact that it only had 6 weeks rego left on it ( the dealer said it was on consignment and the guy only regos them for 3 months at a time)

Or pickles themself could have sent it to the honda shop on consignment, im not sure, do they even do that?

A mate of mine went to the Auction last week, one bike got passed in, he bought one for $4,500 and the other went for a similar price, apparently Manhiem Fowles slug you another $350 on top for buyers premium. 

He knew the copper who had been riding the bike so he was pretty happy. He was going to cover the holes where the side flashing lights went, put on new crash bar covers and try to buy a seat for it.  I think it has 75,000 - 80,000 km on the clock.

They still had it late last week,

my mate outbid another guy and won the second last one at $4,250 but the boss of Fleet Services (the government dept that handles the sales) refused to let it go for under $4,500 and my mate initially refused to budge because he was worried about the other possible costs,

He walked away for a few days, talked to the guy who used to ride it and then rolled over and agreed to pay the extra $250 so they let him have it.

I am not sure what condition the one that got passed in was like but they have to be roadworthy when they are auctioned off

Gotta be careful with these latest WAPOL bikes, they have been around for a long time with the oldest bikes being in the 2003 years (pretty sure most of these are gone now).

Unfortunately most of them have been shared bikes at some stage and they have not necessarily been cared for as well as previous bikes.

Be mindful that these bikes are being sold at a Salvage Auction. This means Manheims does not have to offer any warranty on them.

Do your research, some bikes are great, well looked after and have had some really good parts renewed but others are going to cause a few headaches.

Really happy with mine, knew who rode it before and know the history. By the time you throw in the fees, I paid just over $5000 for a great bike.
