My names Dave and I just purchased my first St1100, an ex police bike at a very good price.   I live in Singleton NSW and I am retired from the Army.   Been riding road and dirt bikes all my life, but have only recently decided to get back into road bikes as I now have plenty of time on my hands.   
   I look forward to catching up with some of you guys in the not too distant future.   I am going to do the usual timing belt, valves, oil change etc, then take her for a good ride.   I have a few mates that have recently retired also and like myself are single with no real commitments and they too are going to buy some ST's.
   I love the forum and there is a wealth of experience on here, I have spent many hours reading some of the posts and there appears to be some real jokers in this group.   If I get into any trouble I know where to come for some great advice.   Once again it is a pleasure to be a part of this group.

    Many thanks for the greetings.   I've looked at the NSW calendar and there are a few I will go too, all going well.   Mid-week 14 May 14, Gloucester sounds good, just a stone throw from Singleton.   Overnight 12 Jul 14 Uralla is a go and finally overnight 20 Sep 14 Inverell is also in the diary.   Look forward to meeting you all then.

There is a Black Dog ride in a couple of weeks going from somewhere on the Central Coast to Dalwood near Branxton. I will be going with some mates in you are interested.

The other guys I ride with are on hogs but I just ignore their unsubstantiated sense of superioty!
