Short but interesting clip on the tyre temps and loads experienced during braking, acceleration and cornering.....

It does make you marvel at how good road tyres are these days.  Relatively long life, great grip in all conditions, and on more powerful and heavy bikes.  I remember the first time I actually used a tyre that gripped in most conditions and lasted more than 5000kms.  A sticky tyre probably no better than the tyres I am on now only lasted 2000kms.  I do miss the prices though  :p

I think a little more testing at Phillip Island would be in order after this years Motogp.
