It does make you marvel at how good road tyres are these days. Relatively long life, great grip in all conditions, and on more powerful and heavy bikes. I remember the first time I actually used a tyre that gripped in most conditions and lasted more than 5000kms. A sticky tyre probably no better than the tyres I am on now only lasted 2000kms. I do miss the prices though
