Mate I've been buying pads from Metalgear they offer a discount to OzStoc members if you buy through their website, I've been happy with their product and run them on mine and the missus' bikes. See the preferred suppliers thread.

Unfortunately they don't have rears to suit my bike ('99) at the moment so I bought a set of Goldfren off Ebay.

Local bike shop just put Metalgear one's front and rear on my 95 police model non abs a few weeks ago when I had new rubber put on.   Can't use bike because of back condition at the moment but my son took it for a ride and said they were great.
Cheers

What are your impressions of the Goldfren pads. With not having the cash to spare at the moment I was looking at getting a set of these for mine

Ceramic Carbon pads are supposed to best but as with anything quality can vary.

So far I haven't got any issues with them theyseem to stop the bike well and have pretty good feel. Lately I've barely done any distance because of the bloody weather here, it just won't stop raining. My next ride will be to Yeppoon on the 19th so we'll see how they go.

Thanks...... what I buy will depend on what the pads look like after the next tyre change which will be before the border ride.

you must have our rain and we your sunshine. We've had a couple days of rain in the last few weeks but it's mainly been sunny days and cold nights
