Jacket order for New & Re-Order Jackets go into Zen tomorrow.....so New Jacket orders will close at Lunchtime (work depending)

For the very few who haven't replied to the numerous requests for a girth measurment I will order your Jacket 2 sizes up from your original order or as you requested from this thread.

The remanufacturing time frame I can relay is unchanged at 2-3 months........

Thanks everyone for your assistance and patience in this project, on a whole other than the obvious sizing issue the feedback on the Jackets has been fantastic  :thumbsup

Jacket orders have now been placed earlier this afternoon for all the re-order and new orders...... :runyay

The manufacturer who originally indicated a 2-3 month turn around contacted Zen today and indicated that they had just completed a very large order and where ready to get started on a new one  :thumbsup

So the order is on the way post hast to the manufacturer......so fingers crossed for a quicker turn around than first indicated.

 :beer

I think Pockey is the happiest person from all of this as the A3 spread sheets, post-it notes and white board that covered the 8 seater dinning room table have been removed.......kids are not impressed though as they had to eat dinner at the table for the first fime in a month  :well

Hmm I hope this won't be problematic, I've lost 13 kg since Starting Chemo which the medicos want me to stop. So I hope the new jacket will fit ok, I've dropped 1 pants size so far and back into 102r comfortably. (Lucky I hadn't thrown any out)

But too big will be better than too small...

Bit of a sad/nostalgic day here in the House of Diesel. You see, today I officially retired my former motorcycle jacket because of receiving and loving the new OzSTOC jacket. She was too good to just throw in the bin, but not needed now, so I am taking it to Vinnies with the winter liner in to hopefully offer some warmth to someone less fortunate in the upcoming colder months. I am half tempted to write a letter to the new owner and leave it in one of the many pockets ti find on a lonely night. It would include pics of some of the msny places in this wonderful country of ours that that old faithful jacket has been and kept ME warm and safe. Look at the ratty old OzSTOC patch now after doing around 140,000 km in the Aussie elements. We've seen some places that jacket and I. Good times folks.

Cheers, Diesel

Aww.  It's a heartless world!

Happy next life, jackets!    :grin

I wore my old jacket on the FarRally because it's like a second skin to me.  The new one is kinda stiff and unfriendly for the nonce.  But Missus Biggles is all antsy about my old fart reluctance to let go.

Like I say- heartless!       :-(((
