I agree with the comments of our fellow ST riders. I usually ride with one or two mates who I know well and can easily, through familiarity anticipate their reactions in a given situation (overtaking, stopping etc). We all used to ride with the Blue Liners on their Tamworth run in May, but gave that away due to idiots overtaking us on double yellow lines, corners etc. Strangely these were nearly all Harley mounted riders, showing us what they could do I suppose. Often they would pass us in 60 kph zones doing well over the speed limit. All together not a good look and somewhat annoying. I think this was due to the club dropping their entry standards and allowing a lot of different riders, shall we say to join the club.Recently they have reassessed their requirements to remove these elements and provide a safer riding experience. I believe that we should all ride at our own pace and always within our comfort zone. It is when we ride outside that zone mishaps often occur. The main thing is to ride safely at all times and never endanger other riders/road users.
