Life after life
« on: May 30, 2014, 11:08:20 AM »
Thanks to the generosity and selfless attitude demonstrated many times by members on this site, my bike is now complete and looking right 'dapper' with the replacement screen fitted.

Tackleberry's generosity in relinguishing purchase rights and enabling me to purchase the screen from Streak due to my original screen looking very poor and needing replacing.

I have enclosed a before and after photo.

Thank you Tac for your generous gesture.

Got me thinking about unused parts being regenerating by being fitted to other bikes and serving out their days doing what they were designed to do. When I restored this bike after sitting in the previous owners yard for a number of years, deteriorating away with damaged and missing parts. It is really pleasing to get on it and ride. You can sense the bike's heart and soul being complete because it once again serves the purpose it was destined to do.

Do you guys know what I am saying and meaning. Warms my heart to have brought this STead back to life.
