Hey Couch, are you Taswegians still south of us or halfway to Unzud?
Only one posting in the past two days! Most unlike you!
From what I see on the weather report much of our south island has been hammered these past couple of days.
Not the best for riding, I'd imagine...

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine.

We've had gale force winds at times but only light rain, I spent a few hours worrying about the 20 Solar Panels that I have sitting up on my roof but come morning and they were all intact, and so was the roof, thank heavens!!

I reckon a wind from the other direction under them would see them all in Strahan.
Luckily, all your strong winds are westerlies, I would think.

The panels face due north and most of our strong winds come from west, s/west, and if they haven't gone by now, I don't think they ever will....touch wood!

The people who installed the panels did a great job according to the inspector who checked out the job and the panels themselves have a very secure locking system, but I guess that wouldn't stop them taking off with the entire roof

Marcus said "the end of October", not "the end of the day"!
