Safety Reflective gear for the STs Panniers....
« on: February 04, 2012, 09:38:05 PM »
So I gets this groovy 3M BLACK reflective adhesive tape from Pete (Blueheeler55) to put on my ST13.

I must say - it is AWESOME!!!

It looks black in the daylight, so you can hardly tell it's even on your bike, but shine a light on it (like cars' headlights), and she lights up like a christmas tree, making me visible from hundreds of metres away.

Have a look at this link to see what it looks like.....

http://www.safetysolutions.com.au/motorcycle-safety-gear/3m-reflective-tape

Great price too - and Pete is one of our PREFERRED SUPPLIERS and fellow OzSTOC Member.

These come custom cut especially for the ST1300, and I believe he is just about to release the ST1100 version.

Have a gander at the next SEQ OzSTOC Ride on 11 Feb if you'd like.

You get a special applicator, and full instructions to install.

Goodonya Pete.      :thumb

Give him a 'Hoy' if you want to grab your own - (he's a nice bloke to boot too)

Cheers, Diesel

I've got a set of these:

http://www.motorcyclelarry.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_3&products_id=261

Lasted about 2 yrs before they started to lift a bit around the edges......stick out like the dogs proverbials at night!  I took them off but will be replacing them with a new set when they're available.

Bike-Quip do those. They do them in Red also (I have red ones on my 1300) which helps being seen in the daylight too.

They do various types of reflective stuff: HONDA wing, side and front stickers which I also have on mine.

I've tried to load pic's but for some reason I can't.

I have the Black ones from Peters Safety Solutions

WOW Brock! They look great and subtle to boot...I should have ordered the black ones too :fp
I'm guessing the default is white, I wasn't paying too much attention during the ordering process.

At the moment, all the ST1100 sets are black (reflect white like Brock's), but can do them in red too, but not for the next two weeks as I'm in the middle of a house move - after that I errr.....life for me should be back to normal
Some people reckon there's no way I could ever be considered "normal"  :crackup
