« on: September 19, 2014, 09:00:29 AM »
After a bit of digging around, it seems that my radiator fan motor has died!  So I'm looking for a new radiator fan motor, if anyone has one, could you please let me know.

thanks in advance.

I thought mine had too. 2 things to check. 1. No screw dropped down stopping it from spinning? 2. Have you earthed the fan switch wire to make sure not just the switch. My switch died and it seems gave the idea to Yorkies bike as well.

Hey Pezz,  yeah checked nothing blocking the fan from rotating.  We also earthed the fan this morning to see if it was the switch and nothing.  Also took the wire from the thermostat and the switch unit, still nothing.  Short of pulling it out and testing the fan on the bench, it seems that the motors toast.

Yep, my thoughts too (along with a few other choice adjectives). I found one from a wreckers in Sydney, so hopefully it's ok. I'll know on Monday.
