Far North Queensland Trip

Along with three mates (inc Fish for those who have met him) I'm leaving on the 7th May and heading for FNQ via Alice Springs, and returning to Adelaide on the 31st May.   See  https://goo.gl/maps/B9uR4  and the  attached photo for our proposed route.  The red dots are our expected overnight stops.   There's a fair chance we will have an opportunity to catch up with some OzSTOC friends on the way.  PM me if you're keen for a catch-up, and I'll pass on some dates and contact details.

We plan on being on the road somewhere through Vic and NSW around the time your coming back down the eastcoast.....we plan to end up at a NSW RTE at Urunga before coming home 

So we are likley to cross paths somewhere

I might be able to use some accrued time to do a ride with you when you're here. There are some nice rides with good views, coffee spots and eateries along the way.

Our FNQ trip will be a great opportunity to meet up with some of the far flung OzSTOC folk, and I've sent of some PMs with a more detailed itinerary and my phone number.   Just 4-5 weeks after getting home from Toowoomba, I'll be on the road again on my next great adventure, and the friendship and generosity of the OzSTOC family never ceases to inspire me.

There is a FarRide at the end of May in Eungella, which does not quite fit in with your plan. I am at Urunga as well, so in between Omeo overnighter and getting the Eungella ride in may be able to cross paths somewhere. I haven't even planned getting to and from Toowoomba yet, so a bit early to plan that far ahead

For info, here's our complete itinerary.   We expect to stick fairly closely to the plan, because two of our party are due back at work within hours of our return.  The objective was always to spend as much time as possible in FNQ and then bolt for home, and the trip completes a circumnavigation of Oz for two of our group when we reach Rockhampton.   See you in a couple of weeks.
