Good effort Dale, did you continue for day two..

As for collection of the money, a lot of these shows only pay after the show goes to air. If the show gets axed before your contribution goes to air, then no prizes.

Dale passed on a question, but lapped around for a second go.  The question he had to answer for $20,000 was "What breed of cattle was bred especially for Australian conditions?  Murray...  red, brown black or grey.
He knew it straight up, so he's off to England with the missus for a visit to all her rels.
Well played, mate.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Grey of course.

That'll be good to know if I ever get asked the same question on a TV quiz show.

I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.

It was a great experience, winning was a bonus.
As Brook states "the cheque is in the mail"  :rofl. 28 BUSINESS days after airing before the cheque is posted so it'll be too late to join the bride.

BUT a hydraulic clutch and new 1st gear are on order  :like. 1st needs replacing after too many clutchless rides from the cable breaking, ah the late '70's bikes  >:().
I may ride a Ducati, but I've rode lots of (other peoples :-) ) ST's

Watched the show at a friends home on Thursday (I don't have a TV) Nice to be able to put a face to the name.
Enjoy the spoils, Dale

Couldn't you put the plane ticket on the plastic card and pay it off when the loot arrives?
Having said that, I fully approve of your priorities.     :grin
