Only for my thinking friends.

I hope that you're going to like this.  It's something that will make your thinker go wacky, and put a big smile on your face.

This is interesting and proves that "knowledge" does NOT mean "understanding".  Worth watching.

Take a few minutes. (It runs for 8 minutes)  Remember learning to ride a bike?

We older motorbike riders should never try this, as you will stack it big time when you go back the the ST

I'm just glad they did a bicycle and not a motorbike...

Fascinating how difficult he found it to ride conventionally once he'd mastered the back-to-front bike.
Great demo of wiring the brain to a new skill.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

A similar experiment has been done with lenses fitted over they eyes , that inverted the image. apparently it took a while for the wearer to get used to operating with the upside down view.  The wearer have even more difficulty in reverting to normal vision

Dentists always amaze me that they are so precise when working with a mirror.
It doesn't come naturally, as I've found when doing mechanical stuff with a mirror.

That was very interesting.  I really like this sort of thing.  It certainly get you thinking about how we are wired.  Right at the end it quoted a scripture.  For anyone interested it is quoted in full below.  The bit that comes close is the first part of verse 27.

20 My son, pay attention to my words; Listen carefully to my sayings. 21 Do not lose sight of them; Keep them deep within your heart, 22 For they are life to those who find them And health to their whole body. 23 Above all the things that you guard, safeguard your heart, For out of it are the sources of life. 24 Put crooked speech away from you, And keep devious talk far away from you. 25 Your eyes should look straight ahead, Yes, fix your gaze straight ahead of you. 26 Smooth out the course of your feet, And all your ways will be sure. 27 Do not incline to the right or the left. Turn your feet away from what is bad.

Last night I watched on ABC iView "Redesign my Brain with Todd Sampson". Series 2 episode 1. That was also very impressive although I think he was a nut for taking such a risk.  Awesome stuff though.
