I recently posted a video to youtube, an instructional video for overseas friends.
Some of you may find it amusing or not.. Heck, my Daughter even found it and watched..

I must say you're more meticulous with the spreading than I am, Brock! :rockon

One has to demonstrate proper procedure Rusty..

Good skills Mr B. A few suggestions for Episode 2 of the Vegemite Series (if there is one):
1. Vegemite can or should be applied much more liberally.
2. The cheese version can be place under the grill until golden-brown cheese bubbles start to form.
2. Grated cheese can be substituted for sliced cheese - even better under the grill.
-
Williamson,
Good points. The video was made with Yanks in mind, they tend to treat Vegemite like jam and smother it on so the idea was to get them to use sparingly and just get the taste not go for total brain/tongue melt down..
I could also progress to vegemite on wheatbix, and using in a stew..
-
To be honest I cake it on and omit the butter. I rarely toast the bread.

Vegemite and a tin of apricot halves and their syrup in a stew is a great combination.
Made out of necessity from a 10 man ration pack.
People came back for seconds and cleaning the pot afterwards was an easy task.

I cake on both the butter and Vegemite on plain bread, abs thinly on toast.

Brock I think you should have changed your timing belts instead.
I am one of the few Aussies who doesn't like Vegemite, reminds me too much of axle grease.
But if you are going to make toast try this:-

It's burnt! :p

The fire wasnt on, but its a good idea.. I could also demonstrate how to make a toasting fork using TIG welding wire..
-
:like Well done Brock
-
I love Vegemite but cannot eat it as it gives me terrible gout. :'(

It's burnt! :p
Just perfect

I make min out of wire coat hangers or fencing wire and the design changes each time.
Fencing wire is the best
-
Fencing wire is the best
probably true, though the galvanising might be a problem. I dont have fencing wire.. but I have boxes of TIG wire.
Fencing wire also makes a great snake whacker, twisted up nicely, it slices through bushes and snakes..

I assume you're speaking "theoretically" as, being a protected species, I'm sure you would never kill one...snakes that is, not the bush... :p :whistle

It was a long time ago Rusty when I was a kid , living on an Army camp and playing in the bush.. Nothing was protected back then
-
No worries, Brock...just doing a little bit of :Stirpot
