Great photos
Robyn and her friend Rozz drove down in the cage
Stopped at Caltex north of Warwick where we waited for Steve & Ruth who wanted to try out my Sergent seat
After swapping over seats we headed towards Killarney then onto Spring Ck Cafe
Meeting up with everyone we enjoyed a delicious lunch and great views and lots of talk with no one in a hurry to leave
We did miss Pete and Langers though
On the way home we stopped by Queen Mary Falls where we did the big walk to the bottom of the falls
Then dropped by Daggs Falls
We didn't get home till after 7.00
We had a great day
Thanks to PC for organising the day and all members that made it

I've been to QMF a few times, but missed the Spring Creek Cafe- looks like one to put on the "to-do" list.  That's a good turnout for a weekday.    Pity the South Ozzies didn't connect.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Great place.

Initially I was not impressed by the prices on the cafe menu, and like many we settled on burgers as being one of the few affordable lunch options.

We stayed on overnight in one of the cottages.  We went for a package deal that included dinner and breakfast, and I was wondering what sort of limited menu they’d bring out for the meals.

Boy was I surprised when they explained that the entree was the herbed bread, but then we could choose ANY main, and ANY desert, and a glass of ANY wine from their full menu.  The food was superb.  And same again for the continental + cooked breakfast.  Nothing was too much trouble.

We will be going back for a weekend some time.

That’s a real shame. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Sad. We had a weekend there some years ago. Was a great location and great hosts at the time.
