Bathurst 1000 - 2020 event
« on: October 18, 2020, 08:56:15 AM »
Who else is watching today?  :runyay

I set up the laptop with live timing, grabbed a coffee, and put the feet up.  ++

While channel 10 were playing fluff, and puff pieces about the main event drivers, the live timing showed the Toyota Gazoo Racing Race 4 event and it finished with car 18 L. Gbbons winning.

10 went to an ad break, and then showed the Toyota 86s lining up on the grid to start that race, all the while displaying the "Live" logo.  :angry-old-man-smiley-emoticon

While they were showing that race, the live timing showed Tin Tops race 3 starting.  :cuss

The broadcast time was much shorter than the race time.

I've got it on now but not paying that much attention to it. It's more background noise while I play on the pooter...  :whistle

I must say I've lost interest in it over the years so wouldn't have a clue as to what driver drives what these days...

I'd much rather watch MotoGP...which incidentally is on the idiot box tonight!  :thumbs

I'm much the same.

Used to love it, never missed a year.

I haven't watched any of the season this year.

Now it's pretty much a one horse race with same chassis, diff, gearbox, tyres, brakes, seat bars etc, just with different engines and body panels. Meh.
