I've often thought about riding the Wall to Wall, as it's a rememberance that's close to my heat, but I'm not a fan of group rides after a disappointing experience.

I am not keen on the large group either but would like to do it at least once.

I've done it twice. 2015 and 2019.

It's a very well organised ride, with lots of police escorts and road control.

Both times I did it with Sean and the Qld Police contigent.

The 1st time we did the ride with the group all the way from the Gold Coast.

The 2nd time I met up with them at Tamworth and with them to Singleton. Then we rode on to Sydney together.

Also on the 2nd ride, we headed off straight after the Sydney memorial ahead of the pack, to Goulburn, waited for lunch, and then ahead of the pack again to EPIC.

Being early gives you a good chance to look at the exhibits before it gets crowded.

The memorial at Hyde Park and at the wall in Canberra are both moving.

Monies raised go towards Police Legacy, to help the kids of those who've lost their lives in Service.

When all the dust settles, I'd probably do another.

If you want to help you can always do as I did and buy a raffle ticket or two...  :thumbs

https://www.raffletix.com.au/walltowall2021

The prize is a Yamaha MT-09 valued at $15,249 Ride-Away.
Tickets are strictly limited to just 5,000 sales so it might pay to get in early...
