My ST was on holidays back in Perth although sad that its stable mate will be away for awhile.
Left the Goldwing in Victor Harbor and flew home last night after a great weekend. Thanks to Pete and Phil.
A good indication of the weekend was as Theresa and I walked out of the Tavern Saturday night her first questions were what are you riding to Ballarat and how do I get there.
The Goldwing stays in Victor Harbor until 22nd April then:-
22nd April to 27th April Victor Harbor to Melbourne (with Theresa)
3rd May to 11th May Melbourne to Sydney
19th Jun to 6th July Sydney to Cairns
6th July to 19th July Cairns to Darwin (with Theresa)
18th Aug to ?? Darwin to Perth

Sitting in Macs hotel in Mt Gambier with Abe attempting to negotiate a payment plan on Diesels bar tab .
We have both pitched in for a paternity test kit ....

Due to a late start , catching up with the ST2UP's & Sabie was not possible.
Maybe able to later.....pondering a Canberra raid with a Bathurst twist.

I'm home and dry. Arrived 8:10 AEST (real time) after 1200 odd kays today.
Missus Biggles did herself proud turning on a top Shepherd's Pie. What a woman!!
My memorable moment was just after Somerton heading for Tamworth (I'm sick of the boring Newell Hwy) I felt an insect hit the right side of my helmet right near my face (had the shield up). I thought that would have made a bit of a stain, then the blighter stung me. Got off the road thinking I'd been done over by a wasp, but turned out to be a bee. Still stung for an hour or so. Fortunately I'm not allergic to them or I would have been in strife.

Made it home to Sarsfield yesterday after 12 hours in the saddle and 1045Km on the clock. Great to catch up with so many "old" faces and meet so many new ones. A great effort by everyone. Safe traveling to all still on the road.
