I'm planning on going on this ride tomorrow with Social Club.

It is a group ride and will be going to Kenilworth for Lunch and stopping at Maleny hotel for the first stop.

If in doubt because of rain Sunday morning, please call John on 0402 085 963. 

Anyone wanting to be picked up on the way also call John to make arrangements.

Meet at the Shell at Nudgee 8.30am for a 9am take off.

I especially liked the one-way section up-hill on the Obi Obi    Down the other side into Nambour was good fun too, once I got past the Harleys.

Great day with some old friends and good riding.

Last time I rode over the Obi Obi Rd from Kenilworth to Nambour was in 2011 some time after the floods and there was a big dirt road detour. Just about shook the bikes to bits
It is a very nice ride, I will have to do it again another day

Kenilworth/Nambour is good but don't do it the other way, especially after a bit of rain.
The down ramp of the one way Obi Obi Rd is dirt but council took down the warning sign back near the primary school in Mapleton.
When people are in the district give me a hoi. Have a coffee or beer here, cheaper than the shops.

Wish the council would put bitumen on the downhill side.
