Uniden UH7700 to Sena SR10
« on: June 16, 2013, 04:49:58 PM »
The uniden 7700 is available with blue-tooth microphone, I have been told by Uniden rep in Perth this will work, in fact suggested Prestige Communications had been successful, Prestige say it will not work, both myself and JohnoJ have also been unable to pair the units. The PTT supplied with this unit is also quite large and difficult to mount.

I purchased Sena SC-A0116 cable and terminated with RJ45 plug, pin-outs are; 1-PTT-brown, 4-speaker-red, 7-mic in-blue, 8-ground-black.

To obtain speaker on pin 4 I had to open up the uniden and solder a jumper from ext speaker out to mic pin 4. I doubt that a shop would do this for anybody as it will void the warranty.

This unit is working well for me although at this stage I have only spoken to truckies, I see no reason why it will not work with other users.

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?
I believe in the "hereafter", every time I go to the shed I have to think "what am I here after"
