too cheap battery??

found this when looking for something else, usual story

is it too cheap?? 12 warranty
comes from gold coast QLD

Hi Paul,

Seems ok, but I only paid about $15 more than that from a local bike shop, not worth the hassle if it doesn't last 12 months and you need to send it back to QLD for warranty as you'd be left without a battery for a few weeks.

Depends on what motorcycle it has to fit , that unit is a wet battery and only develops 200 CCA
I have just purchased a YTZ 14S AGM battery 340 CCa To suit the ST1300 from Powersports   (try E bay ) their price  was $90-00 including postage Australia wide and the battery has a two year warranty.

about that battery in my previous post
I gave the wrong supplier info.
The supplier was, All Purpose Batteries.
I believe that the AGM type of battery construction is much superior to the wet led acid type of construction,
The AGM type is also a sealed , low maintenance.
and I also like the advertised figure of 340 CCA. as against  the others 200 CCA.
