I don't have any auxiliary lights so I'm always interested in the different lights people are using and if people find some good lights at a good price :thumbsup

Thanks StinkyPete, the bride watched your light video last night, and said "why don't you have one's like that", yes she was referring to the lights.

So, off to snakeracing tomorrow to have a look see   :grin, and in my work area.

Gday Carsten, a guide I have always used to give you a rounded figure of amp usage.....you need 8 Amps to supply 100 Watts, so based  on your surplus amps you provide you may just get away with 2x 10W LED lights.....I use some 10W flood LED's fork mounted as DRL's wired with switch and relay with the active from ingition, so they remain on at all times the ingnition is on......they are turned out to focus their light at about 45 degrees.... add about 20 mtrs of usable light either side of my High & Low beam, with a beam reach that dosent go beyond my existing 65/55 plus 50% 4300K Halogen when on low beam, never been flashed and adds more night time confidence   :thumb

We should be able to do some pictures and a review on the way to Yeppoon, as time on the road to do such things.  This would include how they compare to the Ericas so people can decide on the bang for buck question.

Just bought one flood and one spot from Jaycar (Wyong, Central Coast, NSW), $198.00

I just asked the sales person I want (don't need them) one of each, they asked the Manager and he said yes.  :thumbs

I'll be very interested in your review.  I've been watching these for a long time.  Lumens for lucre, they're fantastic.

When you get them Shiney and have one in your hand give me a call and I will talk you through a minor mod to take the little free play out off the mounting bracket, if it is present  :popcorn

Throw a gaggle of ST's, various forms of auxiliary lighting together in the shed and when the sun goes down this is what happens........

The HID spot may have the punch down the road.....but the LEDs have a tremendous spread of light that you are not going to be able to out ride  :like

I have these Dually 2 LED's set up above my mirror pods on my ST1300 and they work a treat and are great value for money.
I also have 4 set up on my GSA, nearly 15,000 lumens and these fittings are tough.....a 100km Roo strike bent the light bracket but the light was otherwise un damaged and works perfectly.

I would, buy them again in a flash.

Who's bike is the one on the left with the cool looking quad lights at the back of their auxiliary light?

Guilty  ;-*

But don't get to excited Dave......that's just the spillover light that the camera collected from around the lens cover on my under mirror mounted 55W HID....you don't notice that at all from the riding position.....cool effect though  :like
