Title: Hi to all from Sunshine Coast

I am a prospective member from Little Mountain on the Sunshine Coast. Been riding for nearly 50 years now and have had numerous bikes in that time. The two that stand out for me are the 2010 GL1800
and the '94 ST1100. I now ride a R.E. Interceptor 650 Twin.
I do miss the reliability and grunt of the larger Hondas, and now am searching for a ST1300. I do most of my own maintenance on my bikes which i really enjoy. Hope to learn more from the forum and from what i have already read there is a lot of good info already available.
Meanwhile the search continues for the S.T.1300.
Hope to catch up with members down the track.

The Forum is a good source of information, support and camrarderie, sometimes you gotta sort through or filter out the BS ... :whistle

Hi StinkyPete Thanks for the welcome. I see you have or had a XS650. I had a XS1 and TX650A a few years later. I rode the XS1 around OZ in '72. Quite a few dirt roads then.
Still see a few 650,s getting around. Gary

The XS was my "Return to Motocycling" bike after a break of at least 25 years, and I really enjoyed getting back in the saddle. I rode it around Tassie and eventually sold it and for the Yammie XJR, but have often toyed with the concept of getting another XS. However space and other considerations have me with only one bike in the shed, which is currently the Beemer, and I'm pleased that OzSTOC still let me play.
