OK you lot when you GET your cap and you want to protect your ears and necks then it is simple either get some material and get it sewn on like a Legionnaire cap or you can  stay in side.

I've got a couple of those blue caps with the red checks too Sabie.. just a couple of different logos on the front.   
I avoid caps because I've had so many things chopped out of me I try to keep the sun off my face, ears and neck as much as possible.  I'd be happy with an OzStoc patch and stitch it to the front of a good quality sun hat.

Hey BBear, I thought yours was orange? Your a fully paid up member of the orange army aren't you? And I say that with admiration of what you guys do...

In my paid job I wear a blue hat with EMQ on the front (radio tech looking after SES and RFS) and when I volunteer the hat is still blue but has an SES logo on it. I really enjoy my job and you get to meet some people who do amazing work whether they're wearing orange or yellow uniforms  . (Sorry for the hijack.. now back to regular scheduled programming..)
