Edithburgh is located about 220 km from Adelaide at the foot of Yorke Peninsula.Adelaide and is about a 3 hour ride.

For those still wishing to make it an overnighter, Accommodation is available at the Edithburgh Caravan Park, which is 600 metres from the Hotel.

Given the numbers attending, accommodation issues and that this can be ridden from Adelaide in a morning, we've now made this a lunch, 12.30 at the Edithburgh Hotel.

Had it been a lunch from the start I'd have been there but as I am committed to Victoria, booked accommodation, got time off work and haven't been interstate for two years I shall be going to Gellibrand.

Have a great trip Bodo, I'm very envious (Julie & I are getting our Winter Covid shots on Saturday). The following weekend a mate and I are going to try our hand with the Great Southern Adventure Rally (https://www.greatsouthernadventurerally.com.au/ (https://www.greatsouthernadventurerally.com.au/)). Send me a PM if you are interested. We're going to take this year pretty quietly but if it's any good we might have to bring out the Toby Price in us next year.

That does sound interesting and something different.  Unfortunately though, in lieu of getting the monday off to make Gellibrand work I've been rostered that saturday.

Change of plan. Our Covid winter booster has been brought forward to Thursday, so provided the reaction is mild, Julie and I will be able to make this one.

I'm shooting the 2022 Archery Club Championship today and it's blowing like a bastard .....   :well .....  but at least everyone else will be in the same boat.

However I can unfortunately see the day when there will be nil STs at an RTE as we move to newer steeds.

Thankfully, we are a welcoming club, unlike some where you need to ride the 'brand'. Yes Harley, I'm talking about you.🤣

Blowing!!! Now there's an understatement. I just hope tomorrow it blows from the same direction at the same strength so I can even my tyre wear.
It was a good ride and even better catch up with JD, Vera & Shillas. I take my hat off to all three. JD & Vera for a mighty effort over 3 or so days for a lunch and Shillas for his round trip. Julie and I had a taxing 50km ride to a mates shack at Point Turton and enjoyed some relaxing beer and wine before and during dinner. It was a great day.
