Unfortunately I'm recovering from a broken arm sustained on 7th January so no rides for me for a few months.  :-[ Definitely be in Mannum in September.  8)

Really looking forward to catching up with all I've met before from all over Australia, as well as those attending who I haven't yet met.

Some great destinations to visit over here in SA.

I will be there for at least part of the time. I may not manage overnights, and I might be in the car for dinner, but I will be there.

... Sorry that Helen can't make it.

Two days on the ST13 for two days of beer, revelry and BS, and then two more days on the ST13 is my idea of fun, but not Helen's.

I have no personal experience with hiring a motorcycle, but I'd first telephone the major local dealers such as MotoAdelaide, Yamaha World, or Peter Stevens.   If they don't hire, they may know of someone that does.   Good Luck.....

I've hired a few bikes over the years (not in Adelaide though) and they aren't cheap!

You're up for a pretty large bond (around $2500???) and then insurance "excess" which is usually around twice that.
And looking at that link that Bodø posted, it seems you have to hire bikes for a week minimum... :||||

I am familiar with the costs involved as i hired a bike for the Perth National Rally due to only being given a short time off of work by my employer ( Easter black out period )

Not a great deal of choice a Show and Go as they mainly deal in scooters.

I had a look at the Yahama World site a few days ago.  There's no list of what's available or any idea of price.

I don't know anything about Eaglerider.

Seem to remember that the Firenze did you ok  ;-*.

Show & Go advertise a few bikes other than the Firenze.

Eaglerider do Royal Enfield bikes.

I'm looking to have my ST1100 gone by the time of Rally, but there may be another local OzSTOCer with more than 1 bike willing to come to an arrangement?

It got around.  Even to a few places the Kwaka has never been.

Unfortunately I too am looking at downsizing bike ownership and am unlikely to have a spare bike by the time the Nat rally comes around..

Judging from which bike keeps turning up at our RTE's, I reckon the ST will be vacating Langers shed.

Sadly yes, the ST. It's my favourite, but it has just clocked over 160k which i know is young for the motor but its the bits around the motor that are aging and becoming unreliable (much like the rider) and expensive to repair or replace.
I'd like to extend this discussion but not on this thread.
